The 10th Darmstadt Days of Photography in 2018 were realized with the focus on ”Perspectives – Strategies of Photographic Actions”.
The Annual theme of the Darmstadt Days of Photography in 2018 was Perspectives – Strategies for photographic action.
In a historically short period of time, photography has developed into many areas of reporting in documentation, in advertising and in contemporary art. In doing so, it has many Boundaries exceeded and requirements blown. Nonetheless, it still essentially refers to photographic processes. Point of view, detail, moment – the photographic in photography. Just Complex concepts need legible forms in order to remain communicable and have a lasting effect to be able to. The Darmstadt Days of Photography want a look at this essence of photography.
