Billboard intervention in public space in the frame of ∑ SUMME Biennale, Basel/SUI in and around WELTRAUM art space in Basel.

The billboards connect public and protected space and question the role of art in times of war and conflict: How can art work? What responsibility does it bear? Where are its limits?

The intervention is part of the ongoing collaboration of the involved artists, that started with the exhibition project Life during Wartime (2023/24), followed by the exhibition heard of a van that`s loaded with weapons, curated by Stephan Wittmer at Redaktion, Lucerne/SUI together with the Magazine release (#164) of a new issue of the independent art magazine _957 and the billboard intervention Packed up and ready to go at the public parking site around Redaktion, Lucerne/SUI

Opening: Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 6pm, with tours at 6pm and 7pm

Closing: Sunday, March 30, 2025, 4pm – 8pm

Opening times: Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 4pm – 8pm, with bar and snacks
