…all my dreams – are also all our dreams. children dreams, life-dreams, hopeless dreams, sweet dreams…
Dreams and the hope of their fulfilment – and if it may just be partially – drive us onwards, let us get up in the morning, and save us from getting lost in the darkness of despair.
Dreams change, have to be corrected an revised. Dreams are fragile constructions and can break.
The 15 digitized super-8-films from the 60es and 70es with their unknown protagonists and their unspectacular motives, represent all the other images and videos sleeping in zillions of family archives. – Images of holidays, Sunday strolls, sport activities, Santa Claus festivities, inaugurations celebrations, birthdays etc.etc.
They constitute a far away echo of lived and lost dreams and resonate with the innumerable images from our own lives banned on photographic paper or stored in our personal clouds.
